Kids will be guided through yoga practices that they have learned. For those who have not learned any of the practices that are guided during these sessions, they must attend a Yoga for Kids, Online session first or have learned another Isha Hatha Yoga practice (e.g. Surya Shakti). Kids can choose to be guided in the Upa Yoga practices or do their other yoga practices during this session. If time, there will be interactive talks about yoga, pranic foods, art activities or games.
These sessions will be held weekly.
For this session, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by baking sattvik/positive pranic brownies! after our practices!
To have your child participate, they will need the following ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (or another alternative milk)
2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups oat flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup carob powder
2 teaspoons baking powder (or lemon juice and baking soda)
1/4 teaspoon salt
For (optional) frosting, they will need:
1/3 cup almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons carob powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
